Our Vision
PulmoBiomed’s focus is to provide clinicians and researchers a non-invasive means of sampling fluids (aerosolised liquids and gasses) from the deep lung, without contamination.
Our solution avoids the need for invasive sampling such as bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), and eliminates the risk of contamination or infection inherent to sputum samples.

Our first product is PBM-Hale™: an innovative, non-invasive sampler of the deep lung. It consists of a disposable mouthpiece, and a sealed sampling unit.
Two accessories, a condenser and a facemask, allow for optimal and customisable sampling process control.
The PBM-Hale™ will be of interest to researchers, CROs and pharma companies seeking to identify and stratify patients with a range of lung conditions, so that the patients can be given the best treatment for their particular condition.
